Nithin Adappa, MD is a Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Pennsylvania. He is part of the Division of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, currently serving as the Fellowship Director for the rhinology and skull base fellowship. In addition, he is the Surgical Director of the AERD Center, as well as the Vice-Chair of Clinical Affairs for the department.

Dr. Adappa has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers and is the editor of the “Atlas of Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery”. His active research includes the development of topical therapeutics for chronic rhinosinusitis as well as outcomes and translational research in sinonasal and anterior skull base tumors.

He completed his medical degree from Michigan State University. He was honored as the Walter C. Mill outstanding senior surgical extern. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine through Michigan State University at Botsford General Hospital. Following, he served as Co-Chief Resident in Ophthalmology through Michigan State at the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Consortium. He was twice honored with the Patrick Murray Award for outstanding resident academic achievement. He then went on to serve as the Clinical Glaucoma and Cataract Fellow at Wayne State University’s Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. Dr. Citron is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He has served as a medical and surgical instructor of both cataract and glaucoma surgery and has dedicated thousands of hours to resident education, instruction and supervision. He currently is a member of the resident Clinical Competency Committee. He has served as the Director of Glaucoma Services for the Michigan State Residency Program in Detroit. Prior to joining the Glaucoma Center of Michigan, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Kresge Eye Institute. He served as a member of the glaucoma faculty and the local Residency Program Director at Sinai-Grace hospital. Dr Citron is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgeons. He has received numerous awards for service including the Presidential Award from the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology. His professional memberships include the American Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Farid received her medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her internship and residency in Otolaryngology at Ohio University-Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine-Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Farid completed a fellowship in rhinology and advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery at Georgia Nasal Sinus Institute with Dr. Frederick Kuhn in Savannah, Georgia. She currently practices at the Polyclinic in Seattle. She provides otolaryngology services to children and adults. Her practice focus is in rhinology and providing patients with advanced medical and surgical treatment for sinonasal disorders. This includes culture directed therapy, primary sinus surgery, revision sinus surgery, and in office procedures.

Dr. Mark Ginsburg is a Clinical Associate Professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Drexel College of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology/ Facial Plastic Surgery. He is board certified in Otolaryngology/ Facial Plastic Surgery and General Cosmetic Surgery. After training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Otolaryngology residency, completed a fellowship at the English Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center in Little Rock, AR. Dr. Ginsburg practices in suburban Philadelphia at Providence ENT Associates and has over 15 yrs of experience with Facial Plastic Surgery specializing in rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty.

I am a radiation oncologist specializing in head and neck cancer and hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma and leukemia. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Director of the Head and Neck and Hematologic Radiotherapy Services at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. My primary research focuses on the mechanisms of radiation-induced normal tissue injury in order to identify potential interventions to mitigate treatment toxicity. The goal of my research is to maximize the therapeutic index for head and neck cancer patients treated with radiation therapy.

Ian M. Humphreys, DO FARS, is an Associate Professor, Medical Director of Otolaryngology, and Division Chief of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He is also a Co-Director of the Neurorhinology & Advanced Sinus Surgery Fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake Campus. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry and then performed basic and translational research at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He then graduated summa cum laude and with Psi Sigma Alpha distinctions from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed an Otolaryngology residency through Michigan State University at Detroit Medical Center and then a Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Humphreys has been faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine since 2015. His practice and research focuses exclusively on rhinology and anterior skull base disorders. His research interests include invasive fungal infections of the nose and sinuses, as well as outcomes in skull base malignancies. He is married with two children. He currently is an Ironman Triathlete and competes in races regionally and nationally. He also enjoys mountaineering and camping.

Dr. David Jang is an associate professor with tenure in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University. He serves as Chief of the Division of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and co-director of the rhinology fellowship. He is a fellow of the Triological Society and the American Rhinologic Society and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Kerrie J. Jordan, BS, MS, DHSc, FAOGME, is the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for the Kansas City University (KCU)– Graduate Medical Education (GME) Consortium and Director for the GME and Continuing Medical Education (CME) Departments. Dr. Jordan is also an assistant professor of clinical education at KCU College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chair of the GMEC, vice-chair of the CE Committee, and an active member of several university-wide committees. She is a consultant for the Rural Residency Program Development (RRPD) and Teaching Health Center Planning and Development (THCPD) Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and is an American Medical Association Health Systems Science Scholar. Most recently, the Assembly of Osteopathic Graduate Medical Education inducted her as a fellow. Dr. Jordan specializes in new ACGME program development, application, policy, due process, corrective action, and navigating accreditation requirements. She serves on several professional committees and chairs a few councils in the profession. She is a published author and national speaker and enjoys the investigative aspect of medical education. She considers herself a workaholic and credits her success to her background in customer service and logistics during her earlier years. She prides herself on helping others grow professionally and become the best versions of themselves while enjoying their careers. Dr. Jordan's areas of interest include resident remediation, GME finance, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, the beach, and spending time with family.
