Accreditation & Credit Statements

AOCOO-HNSF is accredited by the AOA to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Ophthalmology

AOCOO-HNSF designates this program for a maximum of 25.50 of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in the activity. A maximum of 21.50 CME credits may be earned for the general conference. Additional CME credits may be earned from participating in special conference events (i.e. workshops) not to exceed 25.50 CME credits.

Otolaryngology

AOCOO-HNSF designates this program for a maximum of 25.25 of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in the activity. A maximum of 21.25 CME credits may be earned for the general conference. Additional CME credits may be earned from participating in special conference events (i.e. workshops) not to exceed 25.25 CME credits.

Faculty Lectures & Sessions

At the beginning of each session, the speaker will communicate their disclosure information verbally to all learners and this information will also appear on Slide 2 of their presentation as required by AOCOO-HNS. These disclosures allow for the best possible objectivity in the content and preparation of each lecture and allow you to better evaluate each faculty member.
